These bats are balanced (easier to swing), have lighter swing weights (-11, -12, -13 drops) and good VIBRATION CONTROL - great for young players who are learning how to hit, reducing or eliminating “stinging hands” from mis-hits which can discourage young players. Note: Fastpitch softball bats with Alloy barrels usually have more DURABILITY and are more affordable while bats with Composite barrels have a larger SWEET SPOT and more “pop” (higher EXIT VELOCITY) but are more expensive.
